Two Goats Story

Two Goats Story In Hindi

Once upon a time, in a jungle, there were two goats. Both of them used to graze in different parts of the jungle. In that jungle, there was also a river, and in the middle of the river, there was a very narrow bridge. Only one animal could pass through this bridge at a time. One day, as both goats were grazing, they reached the river. They wanted to go to the other side of the jungle by crossing the river. Both goats arrived at the bridge at the same time.

Due to the narrow width of the bridge, only one goat could pass through it at a time. However, neither of the two goats was willing to move backward. Faced with this dilemma, one goat said, “Listen, let me go first, and you can cross the bridge after me.”

Meanwhile, the other goat responded, “No, let me cross the bridge first, and then you can go.

” Disagreement persisted as both goats reached the middle of the bridge. They were not willing to agree with each other.

Now, a heated argument broke out between the goats. The first goat argued, “I arrived at the bridge first, so I will cross it first.” Then the second goat quickly replied, “No, I came to the bridge first, so I will cross it first.” The quarrel escalated. The goats were so engrossed in their argument that they forgot how narrow the bridge was. The disagreement continued until suddenly both goats fell into the river. The river was deep, and its flow was fast, causing both goats to be carried away and drown.

From this story, we learn that quarrels never lead to solutions. Instead, they result in losses for everyone involved. In challenging situations, it is essential to approach the problem with a calm mind and find a peaceful resolution.
