Once upon a time, in a jungle, there lived a pigeon on a tree by the riverside. One day, a bee happened to pass through the same jungle. Suddenly, the bee fell into a river. Its wings became wet, and despite numerous attempts to get out, it couldn’t. When it felt that it was about to die, it started screaming for help. At that moment, a pigeon sitting on a nearby tree noticed the bee’s distress.
The pigeon decided to help the bee. It grabbed a leaf with its beak and dropped it into the river. As soon as the leaf floated near the bee, the bee climbed onto it. In a short while, its wings were dry, and it was ready to fly again. The bee thanked the pigeon for saving its life and flew away.
Days passed, and one day, the same pigeon was fast asleep when a boy in the vicinity aimed at it with a slingshot. Oblivious to the danger due to its deep sleep, the pigeon was unaware of the impending threat. However, a bee was passing by at that very moment, the same bee that the pigeon had saved before. The bee quickly flew towards the boy and stung him on the hand.
Upon being stung, the boy shouted, causing the slingshot to veer off course, missing its target. The pigeon, awakened by the boy’s screams, realized that it had been saved by the bee. It thanked the bee for its timely help, and both the bee and the pigeon flew away safely into the jungle.
This story teaches us the importance of helping others in need. By assisting those in trouble, we not only make a positive impact on their lives but also create a cycle of kindness that may come back to help us in unexpected ways.
